Thunderstorm & Fire (Procedural Audio in Max MSP)

Built this entirely generative, but controllable, patch in conjunction with the video in Max MSP. The core of the sample is white noise which is then effected using various objects and distortion to add more overtones, rumble, or crackle. Also utilized Karplus-Strong synthesis to give a very subtle timbre to the rain on the roof that is woody and yet still has the metallic properties of a gutter, perhaps.
